Description
We are looking for an Animal Welfare Consultant who can contribute technical expertise on the health and welfare of farm animals. Your contribution will be essential to our case assessments, policy analysis, and public reports, ensuring that they are based on sound veterinary knowledge and ethical commitment. Responsibilities: Review and contribute to technical reports, files, regulatory proposals, and audit documentation. Support the identification and definition of indicators of poor welfare conditions in animal production facilities. Collaborate in the development of training materials or public communications from a veterinary perspective. *We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the requirements and/or skills.Skills requested
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
- Knowledge and/or interest in farm animal welfare.
- Ability to interpret veterinary and technical language in public policy contexts.
- Excellent communication skills, to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Independent, proactive, and well-organized person.
- Comfort working remotely with a diverse and multicultural team.
