Description
SEYR is a free, science-backed app that scores any food or grocery item on its real hidden cost — environmental impact, animal harm, public health, and more — across 7 measurable metrics. It's a working prototype, built and self-funded by one longtime vegan, with a Flockwork developer currently helping on the technical side.
We're looking for a volunteer with fundraising or monetization experience to help build a sustainable funding approach — setting goals and finding the right revenue path (e.g. crowdfunding, user donations/memberships, grants). The priority is keeping SEYR independent and mission-aligned, rather than relying on funders who might push for compromises. If a nonprofit route makes more sense, we're open to guidance on that too.
Tasks:
-Weekly 30–60 min strategy check-in (flexible)
-Help identify and narrow down funding/monetization options
-Hands-on support setting goals and building toward a sustainable revenue stream

It's time to give a SEYR™
This is my side project, I've funded it entirely with the very little extra money I have. I do construction work so it's definitely a non for profit project so far. I'm interested to learn in making it an official non for profit and how it can sustain itself and expand, but I also see the opportunity to run animal rights and plant-based product ads only to fund the service. I need help navigating. Thank you for the opportunity!
