Voters For Animal Rights is an all-volunteer nonprofit working to advance protections for animals through the democratic process. We're looking for a skilled volunteer WordPress developer to help us modernize our website! When we launched 10 years ago, we built a website that served us well, but it's time for an upgrade. We've already developed a fresh new design and are ready to move forward. We just need someone with the WordPress skills to bring it to life. What you'd be doing: • Implementing our updated design in WordPress, replacing our decade-old site with a modern, polished presence • Collaborating with our team to make sure the final product meets our needs • Helping us put our best foot forward online as we grow our impact What we're looking for: • Experience building or updating WordPress sites (portfolio welcome!) • Ability to work independently and communicate with a remote volunteer team

Our mission

Building political power for animals. VFAR focuses exclusively on political advocacy for animals in New York. We mobilize voters and organize lobbying efforts to give a voice to animals. Through the political process, we are building a coalition of advocates seeking to strike at the root cause of animal abuse and cruelty, which is a lack of fundamental rights and laws to protect them.
