Legal Research for Latin America We are looking for researchers in the legal field in Latin America to support Animal Law Focus' mission: to conduct research on the regulatory framework for the protection of farm animals and develop innovative legal strategies aimed at strengthening existing standards and advancing the recognition of animal rights. Responsibilities: Literature review: Conduct exhaustive research on current laws and regulations related to animal rights. Data collection: Gather information on animal treatment, welfare conditions, and relevant legal cases. Case analysis: Analyze and summarize the legal information gathered. Policy research: Examine current policies that affect animal rights and propose reforms or advocacy strategies. - Graduate, Law Degree Holder, or Attorney.
- Familiarity with research methodologies.
- Strong ability to analyze legal texts, identify relevant issues, and synthesize complex information.
- Legal writing skills, including the ability to draft reports, briefs, and articles in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Ability to evaluate and critique legal arguments, policies, and practices surrounding animal welfare and rights.
- Ability to work independently, in an organized manner, and meet deadlines.
