Our mission

Our mission is to rescue and provide lifelong refuge for farmed animals on Hawaiʻi Island, while creating a global classroom for compassion — fostering meaningful connections between people and animals to inspire conscious choices and kinder ways of living. Magical Creatures Sanctuary gives people the chance to connect with rescued farm animals in real, hands-on ways. We offer tours, live-in internships, volunteer opportunities, and community events where you can spend time at the sanctuary and learn what it takes to care for the animals. The goal is simple: help people build real connections with animals so they leave caring more and wanting to make kinder choices.
