Description
Our main current focus (and grant application target) is to find unconventional funding for alternative proteins through a new medium: games. A successful mobile game, Treat: Play and Impact Real Animals, works by sending chewy shipments to companion animal shelters as the user plays. We are building a similar application called Foggy Farm that funds sanctuary animals, with the goal of siphoning a significant amount of revenue to cultivated meat research and other effective animal charities (GFI, Innovate Animal Ag, etc.). Since the game is mass appeal, the focus won’t directly be on meat or factory farming, but rather serve as a way to support sanctuaries and alternative protein research simultaneously. Much of the alpha version of the game is complete except for the most important mode, roll mode. We need two engineers/developers to help completion, and implement some of the more complicated details (playstore integration, in game purchases, food shipments, etc.).
